About Thy Kingdom Counselling
Our Approach
Thy Kingdom Counselling provides Christian counselling in Saskatchewan for individuals and couples. We believe faith and mental health can meet in a meaningful way. Our approach is rooted in Scripture, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and relationship with Him.
Online Structure
Booking: Once you book your counselling session you will receive an email showing the type of session you booked as well as the date and time of your session. (Note: The timezone is Central Standard Time in Saskatchewan)
Beginning a Counselling Session: At the time of your session, you will open the reminder email and click on the “begin your online appointment” button to access the virtual video app.
End of a Counselling Session: We discuss a plan of action for moving forward and book a follow-up session(s) if it is fitting. Next, we process payment and email you a receipt which you can use for your mental health employee benefits. (Government services are billed directly, so no receipt is needed.)
Coverage & Employee Benefits
Please check with your insurance benefits provider to determine if the counsellor you are seeing qualifies under your specific policy.

Statement of Faith
God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one eternal God, the Creator of all things, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He lived without sin, willingly gave His life on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father and is head of the Church, His people.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that every person is in need of salvation. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ; it cannot be earned by good works, religious effort, or personal merit.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit draws people to Christ and lives in those who place their faith in Him. The Spirit convicts, comforts, strengthens, gives wisdom, leads us into truth, and forms us to become more like Jesus.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s trustworthy and authoritative Word. It guides our faith, shapes our everyday lives, and remains true and relevant in every generation.
Spiritual Reality and Truth
We believe that evil and spiritual deception are real. We do not want to be preoccupied with darkness, but neither do we ignore it. We seek to remain alert, grounded in truth, and centred on Jesus Christ.
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, with Jesus as its Head. While believers may differ on secondary matters, we seek to keep Christ, His Word, and faithful obedience at the centre.
Hope and Healing for the Mind
We believe that Jesus Christ is able to bring healing, peace, hope, and restoration to the mind and heart. We believe He meets people in anxiety, grief, trauma, fear, and emotional pain. Through faith in Christ, prayer, Scripture, supportive relationships, and wise care, we seek His comfort, strength, wisdom, and renewal. We trust God to work in each person’s life in His love, wisdom, and timing.
