Methods
Individual Counselling
In session, I use methods and techniques such as prayer and scripture, general talk therapy, Somatic Approaches for nervous system care, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is a psychotherapy technique developed to help people process and heal from traumatic memories and distressing life experiences without the need to relay all the details and go back through memories. This can be used for any degree of trauma.

Couples Counselling
I am trained in the Gottman Method for couples counselling and hold Level 2 Couples Therapy training. For couples, my aim is to provide strategies that can enhance and strengthen your relationship. Sessions are grounded in the belief that your marriage is sacred and has the potential for growth. Together, we will assess the health of your relationship in key areas and use research-backed interventions to improve the overall health of your marriage.
Background
I have been providing counselling since 2010 and then privately since 2014. Throughout my practice, I have always incorporated a spiritual component in my counselling approach. This aspect has deepened over the years, particularly in the ongoing development of my understanding of our union and relationship with Christ.
I am the mother of three children and a wife to my husband. Our family resides in rural Saskatchewan. We hold family values of service and sacrifice to the Lord, gratitude, joy, humility, and discipline.
Our spiritual journey has been an interesting one thus far and I am very thankful for the Lord’s unwavering faithfulness and mercy; Jesus’ sacrifice and love; and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
