OUR MISSION

To support people along the healing journey towards a sound mind and a purposeful life full of His fruits.

WHAT WE DO

We counsel people on various mental health issues from daily living stress to anxiety and PTSD trauma care.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

No one is perfect. Everyone has encountered different degrees of trauma and sin. It is our responsibility to ask for and work on the healing as brought about by the Holy Spirit.

OUR VALUES

Love, Integrity, Responsibility, Humility, Peace, Discipline, and Faith.

Approach and Methods

At Thy Kingdom Counselling, we honor the one true God in three persons God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. This foundational belief guides our model of practice and methods utilized. We use a combined approach that integrates biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions to understand and address mental health concerns. Methods used in practice include prayer, scripture, and various methods of talk therapy.

Foundational Beliefs

God
There is only one true God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Jesus is God, the living Word who was with God in the beginning. He became flesh through miraculous conception through the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, atoned for our sins on the cross, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He mediates between God and man, speaking on behalf of those who trust in Him. He provided justice and salvation for all who trust in Him. He gave us the promise of receiving another helper, the indwelling Holy Spirit. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
Holy Spirit
Through Jesus’ sacrifice we gained the Holy Spirit who can transform believers of Christ into new people though conviction, guide us into all truth, help us to understand God’s Word more deeply, and help us to overcome sin. The Holy Spirit is the great counsellor, comforter, guide and helper. He will teach us all things and bring to us remembrance of all that Jesus has said.
Bible
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and revealed Word of God.
Everlasting Life
God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Eternal life is through Christ alone given to us by God. This redemption cannot be earned through any human works.
Body of Christ
The first man (Adam and Eve) brought the curse of sin and the last man (Jesus) brought redemption allowing us to be reconciled with God. The body of Christ or the church is the collective unity of all nations of believers with Jesus as the head. As a believer and Christ follower we are in Christ, set apart, consecrated to the Lord, and living with the indwelling Holy Spirit who keep us from lusts of the flesh and grows in us fruits of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
